DENVER (KDVR) — It seems like grasshoppers are everywhere in Colorado this year. Well, buckle in, grasshopper sightings could last through the winter, according to the Butterfly Pavilion.
An increase in grasshoppers has been seen throughout Colorado this summer. In Dever, they wind up in people's yards and on their plants. In other areas like Yuma County, grasshoppers devastated crops and pastures. One farmer told FOX31 that in his 40 years of farming, he's never seen this many grasshoppers taking over his crops.
