Whoopi Goldberg Makes Hilarious On-Air Mistake During ‘The View’

Everyone loves a good on-air flub — and that’s exactly what The View fans got during the Monday, February 26, episode when Whoopi Goldberg mixed up the show’s resident medical expert’s name.

During a transition to commercials, Goldberg, 70, was supposed to introduce special guest and medical expert Dr. Jennifer Ahston. Instead, she accidentally referred to the doctor by Jennifer Aniston’s name.

The flub happened when the panel was discussing the story of Punch the monkey, who captivated the world after being rejected by its mother when he was born in Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan, only to take comfort in a stuffed orange orangutan, according to USA Today.
