Woman Shot in Neck on Staten Island Street as Scooter Gunman Flees, NYPD Seeks Suspect

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 20-year-old woman was shot in the neck during an early morning attack on Richmond Avenue, and the gunman fled on a motorized scooter, prompting a public search by the NYPD.

The shooting happened around 7:25 a.m. April 17 outside 2873 Richmond Avenue, according to the NYPD Crime Stoppers unit, which is asking for help identifying the suspect.
