SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A woman was sent to the hospital Tuesday night after being injured during an altercation in Pacific Beach, authorities said.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the 41-year-old victim was involved in a verbal fight with a 45-year-old woman in the area of Ocean Boulevard at Hornblend Street shortly before midnight.
During the altercation, police said the suspect pulled out a knife and used it against the victim, who suffered a laceration to her right arm. The injured woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect reportedly left the scene riding a multicolored bicycle southbound on Ocean Boulevard, police said. She was described as a white woman who stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs around 135 pounds. She has long blonde hair and was last seen wearing an oversized blue T-shirt and jeans.
