ST. LOUIS -- The "You Paid For It" team has achieved significant results for our viewers over the past year. This evening's report focuses on the You Paid For It results.
Many people turned to team for help, from those dealing with terrible conditions in rent-subsidized apartments to a double amputee in Arnold who could not get transportation to doctor appointments that you paid for, to a resident fighting the Department of Immigration who told her she was not a US citizen. She was adopted from Belize when she was 6 months old, a confusion over a passport caused the problem.
The aim of "You Paid For It' to help viewers with problems and go to officials to get answers. In tonight's report, there are six stories where we witness officials taking action and delivering results. In some of the stories, we have to turn to US Senators for help getting the job done.
