Traffic stop leads to drug arrest
RICHMOND, Ind. (WISH) — A man accused of cocaine dealing is behind bars after deputies located several thousands of dollars worth of cocaine during a traffic stop.
Terro Johnson’s arrest came after Wayne County sheriff’s deputies say they’d been monitoring him for several weeks as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Around 7 p.m. Saturday, investigators spotted Johnson “speeding and driving erratically.” Johnson was subsequently pulled over.
During a search of Johnson’s car, a K-9 performed a free-air sniff on the vehicle and found 2.2 pounds of cocaine. That translates roughly to $90,000 street value, deputies say.
