BCSO: East and westbound I-40 west of Albuquerque closed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office said severe weather is causing traffic issues. According to a social media post, I-40 west and east at mile marker 140 are shut down while salt trucks work on slick roads. New Mexico State Police are not allowing through traffic past the gate on Sandia Crest Road.
