GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) — Center Grove girls basketball senior Gracyn Gilliard has been named Indiana Miss Basketball.
Gilliard helped lead Center Grove to a 29-0 record and a state championship in Class 4A. She had a game-high 23 points, nine rebounds, and six steals in the three point win over Norwell.
Gilliard averaged 25.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 1.9 assists per game this season. She had 1,898 points and 336 steals in her career at Center Grove, which are both school records.
She is Center Grove’s first Miss Basketball.
Gilliard is cousins with former Center Grove and IU basketball star Trayce Jackson-Davis, who was Indiana Mr. Basketball in 2019.
Gilliard is committed to play at Davidson next season.
