Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony comes to Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — If you’re still putting together Valentine’s Day plans, a trip to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra might be just the ticket.
The ISO’s Valentine’s weekend presentation is Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, the “Resurrection” Symphony, with two vocal soloists and a massive choir joining the orchestra on stage for both performances.
Ed Parsons, the ISO vice president of artistic, stopped by Daybreak to discuss the event happening Feb. 13-14 at Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis.
