Fast-moving wildfire prompts evacuation orders near Palmdale

A fast-moving brush fire burning near Palmdale has prompted evacuation orders and warnings Saturday. The “Lemon Fire” ignited just after 2 p.m. near Sierra Highway and Pearlblossom Highway, just south of Palmdale and had burned about 50 acres.
