Hamilton County expands real-time crime data center
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — The real-time crime information center has expanded, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.
Officials say the center serves as a centralized hub for real-time crime data, video surveillance, and coordination between agencies across the county. The expansion includes a drone program for first responders, which allows drones to launch automatically and respond to emergencies in under 90 seconds.
Brian Niec is director of the Hamilton County Real Time Information Center, located in the sheriff’s office facilities off Cumberland Road north of state roads 32-38 in Noblesville. The center opened in November 2024.
