Driver involved in deadly crash in country illegally
WASHINGTON (WISH) — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Thursday took custody of a semi driver involved in a Jay County, Indiana, crash that killed four people, the White House said.
Bekzhan Beishekeev, 30, of Philadelphia, was put into the Jay County jail in Portland after investigators say he striking a van in the Tuesday afternoon head-on collision. ICE took him into its custody from the jail. Indiana online court records showed no case for Beishekeev.
