17-year-old arrested in August 2025 shooting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a shooting in August that left a man injured on the city’s near-north side.
Police say it was reported just before 12:40 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 3500 block of Ralston Avenue. That’s in the Delbert Meyers housing subdivision, a few blocks south of the intersection of 38th Street and East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive.
IMPD says officers found a man shot. He was stable when taken to a hospital.
Investigators initially believed the shooting was self-inflicted but later determined it was not.
