IMPD searches for 1-month-old boy, last seen with teen

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police detectives on Wednesday night were searching for a 1-month-old boy who is believed to be with an 18-year-old.

Brandon Echols III was last seen around 5 p.m. Wednesday with the teen, Brandon Echols, in the 900 block of East 22nd Street. A news release issued Wednesday night from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department did not provide the relationship, if any, between the pair.

The 1-month-old infant was described as having black hair and brown eyes, and weighing about 10 pounds. The 18-year-old Echols has brown eyes, wears his hair in long dreads, weighs 125 pounds and stands at 5-feet-7.

Anyone who locates the Echolses was asked to call 911 immediately.
