Public Works targets Indianapolis potholes
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH)- Drivers across the city are dodging potholes and the Department of Public Works say they have a plan to speed up repairs and prevent more damage.
Most Indianapolis residents say potholes are a big problem.
“If you run into these potholes, you might run into the middle of the Earth messing with these potholes. They’re dangerous,” said Indianapolis resident Jordan Jelks.
Indianapolis resident Anthony Hill says he’s gotten two flats so far. “I’ve got rims on my car so every time I get a flat, it costs me $300 for each tire. I’ve got rims so if I bend the rims, that costs extra. Potholes are terrible,” he said.
