Lawsuit filed after man was crushed by fallen tree in City Heights

A family in San Diego has filed a lawsuit against the City of San Diego after a falling tree killed Roberto Ruiz Salmon, alleging the city was negligent in maintaining the tree and failed to act on prior warnings about its deteriorating condition.
