Natchez Trace Parkway bridge getting permanent barrier to prevent suicide attempts

A portion of the Natchez Trace Parkway around the bridge will close this Wednesday until next spring as the National Park Service prepares to construct the barrier. The agency calls it an  "important step" in ensuring the bridge is both safe and welcoming to visitors.
