INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love says he is leaving the school after three seasons and declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.

ESPN projects Love will be a first round pick next year.

Love finished third in Heisman Trophy voting this year and the Associated Press named him a First Team All-American.

He set a school record with 21 touchdowns during the 2025 season.

In a post on Instagram, Love thanked Notre Dame for the past three years.

“From the amazing football support staff to my fellow students, I could not have picked a better place for me to grow into the man I am today.”

The 2026 NFL Draft is scheduled to be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25. Indiana University quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza is projected to be the No. 1 pick.
