INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — “Solo Mio,” a romantic comedy starring Kevin James, opened in theaters Feb. 6. The film follows an older groom who is left at the altar and decides to take his planned honeymoon to Rome alone.

Film critic Patty Spitler rated the movie four out of five stars, praising its focus on older adults finding love. Directed by brothers Charles and Daniel Kinnane, the 96-minute film is rated PG for some language.

The story centers on Matt Taylor, portrayed by James, a single older man who believes he will never find true love. After planning a wedding and honeymoon in Italy, Matt is abandoned at the altar.
